As I sit in my more-than-messy room, wading through the piles of things in ziplocs, I decided blogging would be far more enjoyable. I am not so sure how I feel about being a BLOGGER. I don't want to bore you with the adventures in my life. Alright - I guess it will be exciting! Instead of sending crazy group emails I will be posting on this. That means = the ball is in your court! So check it out when you like. Let me know if it gets to be a bit dull and I might share a few more of my real adventures.
Here are just a few points of interest you might like.
My three fears about moving to Paraguay - which I am sure will seem insignificant when I get there and meet the real challenges!
- I am concerned I will be hot and sweaty for the next 27 months of my life
- I will be learning an indigenous language (yikes!)
- I will be a three day donkey ride to the Internet (that's 6 days round trip!)
Here is a little info about Paraguay!

This was the Welcome Book that I received. It has lots of frequently asked questions that you might have. A few interesting facts include:
Paraguayans place very high value on personal hygiene
The Peace Corps will provide me with a first aid kit that includes condoms
And possibly a mountain bike (not part of the first aid kit)
